Production Process:
We made this bronze kangaroo sculpture using the traditional lost wax method. So you can see many realistic details on our kangaroo sculpture.
- Making clay film; all our bronze sculptures are pre-made with clay film, strictly in 1:1 ratio.
- Flip the mold; plaster for simple modeling, silicone for complex modeling.
- Waxing; after turning the mold, pour the melted wax into a plaster mold or silicone mold and wait for the wax to cool. After removing the mold, align the wax mold.
- Make the shell; wrap the wax model layer by layer with quartz sand. Casting; (lost wax method) Put the wax mold into a heat-resistant mold, burn the paraffin in the shell at high temperature, and pour the copper water into the quartz sand. Shell, cool, shape.
- Sanding, splicing, welding seam processing.
- Tinting, oiling and sealing wax.
